• Named to join Twin tooth Racing with Matt Lee as the two new drivers for the 2005 Formula BMW USA championship-winning team, Autotecnica, for the 2006 season.

• After an invitation-only runoff in Valencia, Spain in 2005 with 36 top karters from North and South America, he earned a top spot as one of five drivers to receive a $40,000 scholarship from BMW to compete in the Formula BMW USA series in 2006.

Racing Career Highlights

2006: Will compete in Formula BMW USA series as a member of the Autotecnica/Twin tooth Racing team with teammate Matt Lee.

2005: Due to his strong performance at the Formula BMW USA Scholarship Runoff in Valencia, Spain Aug. 31-Sept. 1, was designated as one of five drivers to receive a prestigious Formula BMW scholarship for the 2006 season.

Successfully completed two-day Skip Barber advanced racing school at Lime Rock Park, Lakeville, Conn., Aug. 8-9.

Successfully completed the Formula BMW USA licensing course in Valencia, Spain July 25-26.

Successfully completed three-day Skip Barber racing school at Lime Rock Park, Lakeville, Conn. July 18-20.

2004: Ran in the Stars of Karting series and World Karting Association events. Had three top-fives in the latter; finished second in Yamaha Junior Super class in August at Badger Raceway in Dousman, Wis.; fifth in Formula Yamaha Junior Sportsman at Trane Motor Speedway in Sheridan, Ill. in May; and fourth in Formula Yamaha Junior Sportsman at 103rd Street Complex in Jacksonville, Fla.

2003: Ended the World Karting Association season in second place in the Cadet class; third in the Yamaha Junior Sportsman class and fifth in the HPV Junior Sportsman class.

Had three WKA National victories in the Cadet class: in August at Batavia Motor Sports Park in Batavia, N.Y.; in June at Trane Motor Speedway in Sheridan, Ill.; and in March at Lowes Motor Speedway in Concord, N.C.

Top finishes in the Yamaha Junior Sportsman class were a third in June at Trane Motor Speedway and two fourths: one in August at Batavia Motor Sports Park and one in March at Lowes Motor Speedway.

Finished third in HPV Junior Sportsman class twice: once in August at Batavia Motor Sports Park and once in March at Lowes Motor Speedway.

Earned the 2003 Eastern Division Championship in the Cadet class in the Stars of Karting series. 2000: Finished second in the Cadet division in World Karting Association action in his rookie season with that organization. Had two victories in that class: one in December at the 103rd Street Complex in Jacksonville, Fla. and one in July in the Grand National Championship at Badger Raceway in Dousman,
Wis.

Also won the HPV Junior Sportsman class in December at 103rd Street Complex.

1999: Finished second in Cadet division after 22 races at Oakland Valley Raceway Park, Cuddebackville, N.Y., with multiple victories.

1998: Entered his first go-kart race at Oakland Valley Raceway Park, Cuddebackville, N.Y. at the age of 8. Went on to finish second in Cadet division after 22 races at Oakland Valley Raceway Park with multiple victories.
