• Along with Robert Thorne, will drive for the 2005 Formula BMW USA championship-winning team, Autotecnica, in that series in 2006.

Racing Career Highlights

2006: Will compete in Formula BMW USA series as a member of the Autotecnica/Twin tooth Racing team with teammate Robert Thorne.

2005: One of only three Americans from the Formula BMW USA series to represent the United States at the Formula BMW World Final in Bahrain Dec. 13-16. A total of 34 drivers from the four regional series representing 15 nations will compete for a $60,000 purse and a Formula 1 test drive.

Finished 16th in the Formula BWM USA series in his rookie season of car racing after 14 events driving for Twin tooth/BRM Motorsports. Was 11th in the Rookie of the Year standings. Competed at Laguna Seca, Mid-Ohio, Gilles Villeneuve Grand Prix Circuit, Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Barber Motorsports Park, Grand Prix of Denver and Road Atlanta.

2004: Raced karts in World Karting Association and Stars of Karting series in Junior HPV class, Jica, Yamaha Super Karts and 80 shifter karts. Posted victories in all of those classes.

2003: World Karting Association national champion in Junior HPV class. Never finished out of the top five except for two sprints where he had mechanical difficulties.

Also competed in selected Champ Car Stars of Tomorrow events. Never finished out of the top five and won at Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wis. Posted his first fastest lap for this series at BeaveRun in Wampum, Pa.

Posted three fast-lap times and won two events during Kart Week 2003 at Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Fla.

2002: Never finished out of the top 10 in World Karting Association Cadet events.

2001: Ran World Karting Association events, finishing eighth in the national point standings in the Cadet class.

2000: Earned the New York State Championship in Junior Sportsman.

1999: Won the Long Island Karting Association championship in Cadet class.

1998: Entered his first go-kart race on the road course at Westhampton, N.Y. at the age of 8. Rookie of the Year for the Long Island Karting Association in Cadet class.
